A printable Thanksgiving menu helps guests see what is being served and helps a host notice gaps before the gathering begins. This blank template is designed for your own dishes rather than a fixed traditional menu. Use it for a family meal, Friendsgiving, a classroom celebration or a community potluck. The same layout can serve as a planning draft before becoming the table menu.
How to use this printable
- List the dishes you actually plan to serve. Group them into a few clear sections such as starters, main dishes, sides, desserts and drinks.
- Check the list against the people preparing or bringing each dish. Remove duplicate promises and leave a blank space for any final change.
- Write the menu in readable lettering. Use dish names guests will recognize rather than decorative descriptions that hide the ingredients.
- Print the final copy after the plan is confirmed. Put it where guests can read it and keep detailed ingredient information available separately.
Make the activity your own
For a potluck, use the menu beside the sign-up sheet so the host can compare planned dishes with confirmed contributions. A menu can identify vegetarian options or direct guests to ask about ingredients, but it should not promise an item is safe for an allergy unless the preparation and ingredients have been checked appropriately. For a small table, one central copy may be easier to read than many tiny individual menus.
Printing and questions
Print the PDF on US Letter paper in portrait orientation. Start with one copy and check the preview before making a classroom set. Use ordinary paper for a worksheet, or cardstock when the finished piece needs to stand up to handling.
Is this an editable Word file?
The supplied printable is a PDF you can print and fill in. It is not a Microsoft Word template.
Can I include nontraditional food?
Yes. The blank sections let the menu reflect your family, community and preferences rather than prescribe a particular meal.
