An ice princess turkey disguise gives a Thanksgiving project a cool winter palette. A long gown, pointed crown and snowflake details create the idea with simple paper shapes. Families searching for an Elsa turkey disguise can use this original princess costume template as a starting point; it does not reproduce official movie artwork or provide a licensed character cutout.
How to use this printable
- Choose a light blue, a dark blue and a pale accent color. Decide whether the feather fan will become a cape or a snowy backdrop.
- Color the gown in large sections. Add a belt or a line of small snowflakes to make the costume recognizable without filling every space.
- Make a crown from a folded paper strip and place it above the turkey face. Keep the crown broad enough to cut without tearing.
- Add a short character introduction. Describe how the turkey uses a snowy costume to stay hidden during the school parade.
Make the activity your own
Try white crayon resist details by drawing snowflakes before lightly coloring over them with a blue pencil. Paper confetti can stand in for snow, but a few drawn stars are easier to transport and keep the project flat. Ask children to compare warm fall colors with cool winter colors and explain how their palette changes the mood of the same turkey shape.
Printing and questions
Print the PDF on US Letter paper in portrait orientation. Start with one copy and check the preview before making a classroom set. Use ordinary paper for a worksheet, or cardstock when the finished piece needs to stand up to handling.
Do I need glitter?
No. White pencil marks, small paper diamonds or plain crayon snowflakes give a similar idea with less cleanup.
Is the printable an official Elsa image?
No. The included design is an original ice princess turkey costume. Children can personalize the hair, gown and crown.
